Why Grow the Herd?

Our cattle business is already creating meaningful change, and now it's time for the next step.

By adding 20 more female cattle to the herd, we're investing in the long-term growth and sustainability of the business. Ideally, each cow will already be pregnant, allowing the herd to grow even faster through future generations of calves.

As the herd grows, so does our ability to create jobs, increase income for families, and move closer to profitability. But our vision doesn't stop there.

Our long-term goal is to process and sell our own beef to restaurants, grocery stores, and our future Hope Foods storefront. By doing so, we'll create even more local jobs, keep more value within the community, and build a business that can continue growing for years to come.

To make that possible, we need a larger herd. More breeding cows means more calves, more steers available for processing, and the ability to consistently meet customer demand. Every cow purchased today helps build a stronger, more sustainable business for tomorrow.
