H&H Healthcare Pillar

With safer homes and clean water, many major health risks are reduced. But significant medical and dental care is outside the reach of many communities due to geographic or economic barriers. We hope to provide access to health care, health training, and health education to bring about both immediate and long-term impact.

Recent acomplishments in the health pillar:

• Opened two full-functioning clinics in two different communities - La Cuchilla and Remolino

• Trained 8 community healthcare workers in 5 of our partner communities in first aid and first response protocols

• Developing a BodySafe program to protect children from abuse and teach parents how to care for their children
