Join us in breaking cycles of generational trauma & growing emotional resilience in our partner communities

Poverty is not only financial – it is emotional and generational. Trauma, anxiety, and grief quietly follow children and families in our partner communities, becoming invisible barriers to lasting change. Schools provide education. Homes provide food. But emotional wounds often go untreated. And without hope, transformation cannot take root.

This spring, you can help Humanity & Hope United launch Hope That Heals: a Mental Health Program bringing professional counseling, community education, and family support to five remote communities in Honduras.

Unresolved trauma is a recurring cost. Healing is a one-time investment – with generational impact.

This program will equip children and families with the tools to heal, grow, and thrive – breaking cycles of trauma and poverty for good.

what does this program include?

Led by a full-time licensed Mental Health Professional, the program will:

1. Provide counseling to treat trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, and behavioral challenges

2. Offer prevention-focused psychoeducation for all ages

3. Strengthen families with relational and emotional skill-building

4. Build long-term emotional resilience across communities
